What it does

WIPJar builds a ranked map of the working relationships already inside your company's email. You connect a work mailbox; we read message headers — who wrote to whom, and when — and produce a ranked view of the people and organizations that mailbox has a real relationship with, sorted into strength bands.

Most companies already know everyone they need to know. The knowledge is just scattered across individual inboxes where nobody can see it. WIPJar makes it visible.

How it works

  1. Sign in. Connecting a mailbox is a separate, second consent — signing in does not grant mailbox access.
  2. Connect a work mailbox (Google Workspace or Microsoft 365). Access is delegated by you individually; WIPJar does not request organization-wide administrator consent.
  3. We read message metadata from the last 12 months and build the graph.
  4. You get a ranked contact map you can browse, filter, and export.

What we access, and why

For Google accounts, WIPJar requests the gmail.metadata scope. This returns message headers and labels only. It does not return the body of any message, and it does not return attachments. We request it because relationship strength is computed entirely from who corresponded with whom and when. The content of the correspondence is neither used nor needed.

Subject lines are returned as a header. WIPJar never stores a subject line and never displays one.

For Microsoft accounts, we request the equivalent minimum permission.

What we don't do

We do not read message bodies or attachments. We do not store or display subject lines. We never send mail from your account. We do not sell or rent your data, and we share it only with the service providers named in our Privacy Policy, as needed to run the service. We do not use your data to train machine-learning models.

What every member of your organization can see

Your contact map is shared across your organization: every member of your WIPJar organization can see the full company graph, including relationships that came from other members' mailboxes. This is the point of the product, and we tell you again at the moment you connect a mailbox.

Your graph belongs to your organization. If you leave, it stays with them, and your mailbox stops feeding it. You can disconnect a mailbox at any time; disconnected data is deleted within 30 days.
